It is also because Randall addition onto his house over time. In 1975 Randall's great-granddaughter sold the house to Wolfville for $50 on condition that it be used as a museum from then on.

The home contains an assortment of original historical items, including furniture from the Victorian period (1837-1901) and the Edwardian period (1901-1914). Randall House Museum also offers guided tours. These have been designed for visitors to learn about Randall's life, family history, the building of Randall house museum & Wolfville.

The garden contains an extensive collection of bulbs planted each year to create perennials with colourful displays in May and June. Randall House Museum also has an extensive herb garden with varieties of herbs that have been used for centuries to create culinary delights and medicine.

Visiting Randall House Historical Museum Randall House is open May through October, Tuesday to Sunday from 11:00 am until 04:30 pm, except on June 15th when it opens at 09:00 am. Admission is free. Guided tours are available from May until October, Tuesday to Sunday at 12:00 pm and 02:00 pm. Group tours can be arranged by appointment year-round for a minimum of ten people.
